About Sanjeeta
I am a registered mental health counselor intern (RMHCI) with 11 years of experience and a background in psychology and clinical practice. I work with adults and young professionals navigating anxiety, self-doubt, relationship stress, and life transitions. My clients often seek clarity, emotional balance, and tools to manage overwhelming thoughts. I strive to help them build resilience, strengthen self-awareness, and create healthier patterns that align with their personal values and goals in a supportive, nonjudgmental space.
I earned my master’s in clinical and mental health counseling from Lynn University. My approach is collaborative and rooted in evidence-based practices such as cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, eye movement desensitization and reprocessing, mindfulness, and strengths-based therapy to promote emotional growth and self-discovery.
I understand that reaching out for support can feel vulnerable, but it’s also one of the most courageous steps you can take. You don’t have to face life’s challenges alone. I’m here to walk beside you with compassion, understanding, and genuine care as you move toward the life you deserve. When you’re ready, I’d be honored to begin this journey with you.

"As a person of color, I understand the unique challenges of identity, exploration, and intersectionality."

Why did you decide to become a counselor or psychiatric provider?
I decided to become a counselor because I’ve always been drawn to understanding people’s stories and helping them find meaning, healing, and growth through life’s challenges. Witnessing how empathy, safety, and genuine connection can transform pain into strength inspired me to pursue this path. I believe everyone deserves a space to be heard without judgment and to rediscover their resilience. Becoming a counselor allows me to combine compassion with purpose helping others build emotional clarity, self-acceptance, and hope for a more fulfilling life.
What types of clients do you work best with?
I work best with adults and young professionals who are navigating anxiety, trauma, self-doubt, or major life transitions. My ideal clients are motivated to grow, seeking emotional balance, clarity, and meaningful change in a supportive, nonjudgmental space.
What's one thing you wish all clients knew about therapy, mental health, or the healing process?
I wish all clients knew that therapy is a journey, not a quick fix, and progress often comes in small, steady steps. Healing takes patience, self-compassion, and commitment, but every effort you make brings you closer to greater clarity, resilience, and well-being.
What can clients expect in their first session with you and in the early stages of therapy?
In the first session, clients can expect a warm, nonjudgmental space to share their story and discuss their goals, challenges, and concerns. In the early stages of therapy, we focus on building trust, understanding patterns, and creating a personalized plan that guides their growth and supports emotional healing.
What personal experiences or values inform your practice as a therapist/provider?
My practice is informed by my personal experiences of overcoming challenges, navigating transitions, and prioritizing self-awareness and resilience. I value empathy, authenticity, and the belief that everyone has the capacity for growth, which guides me in creating a safe, supportive space where clients feel seen, heard, and empowered to heal.
How do you tailor therapy to meet each client’s unique needs?
My practice is informed by my personal experiences of overcoming challenges, navigating transitions, and prioritizing self-awareness and resilience. I value empathy, authenticity, and the belief that everyone has the capacity for growth, which guides me in creating a safe, supportive space where clients feel seen, heard, and empowered to heal.
