Lorna Wooten is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) who has over 14 years of experience working with adolescents and adults seeking help with traumatic experiences (childhood trauma, abuse, neglect, or any intense event or situation that caused emotional distress), anxiety, depression, occupational stress, life transitions, relationships, grief and loss, self-esteem, sleep disturbance, anger management, and much more.

Lorna earned her bachelor’s in Psychology at the University of Missouri-St. Louis and her Master of Science in Clinical Counseling & Psychology at Troy State University. Lorna’s approach combines cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, client-centered therapy, solution-focused therapy, acceptance & commitment therapy, and reality-based therapy.

Lorna will assist you with gaining insight, finding inner strength, and developing strategies necessary to make a change in your life. She does not use a cookie-cutter approach to treating clients, as each session is tailored to meet the needs of the client.
