In a world that is tough and constantly changing, Lisa challenges you to pause for a few minutes a day and begin the journey to making your life more than just about survival. If you are ready to learn who you are and how you have made it this far in your journey, Lisa will work closely with you in this discovery, and provide you with new tools to support your ever-growing strength to overcoming life's challenges. If you are ready to get to know the most important person in the world, yourself, schedule an appointment with her today!

"As a therapist who also serves many non-professional roles; wife, mother, sibling, and teacher, and who has experience with personal grief and loss, I validate and empathize the ups and downs that life throws at us on our journey. With full understanding and compassion, I am here to help you navigate those twists and turns so that you can become the best version of yourself."

Why did you decide to become a counselor?
After going through some personal struggles, I sought out counseling for myself. The experience was life changing for me! With the help of my counselor, I was able to learn tools and techniques that would help me in multiple aspects of my life. At the time, I was teaching psychology to high school students and loved it! After my experience with counseling, I felt the calling to switch from teaching on a large scale to helping individuals and families on a more personal level.
What type of clients are you most excited to work with?
I love working with kids and their families to help tackle the challenges of growing up. I also love helping people work through the grief process, to not only honor your loved one but also to help you get back to living the life your loved one would want for you.
What can clients expect in their first session with you?
During the first session I really want to get to know you, find out what brings you in and start to figure out a plan to help you get to where you want to be.
What do you do for fun/on your time off?
When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my family, crocheting and finding things in my favorite colors purple and orange!
