Welcome! As an LMHC, I know taking the first step takes immense courage. Having experienced personal trauma and loss, I truly understand the deep impact of painful life circumstances—and how building new life skills empowers us to heal. You don't have to carry this burden alone. I provide a safe, judgment-free space to treat PTSD, depression, anxiety, suicidality, and couples counseling. As your biggest cheerleader, I treat therapy as a partnership. Together, we will form a personalized plan, set goals, learn skills, and use proven treatments to help you overcome hardships, reclaim autonomy, and thrive. Let's build resilience today

I use a collaborative approach where we form a plan and set goals together. As your biggest cheerleader, I pair this warm encouragement with evidence-based treatments to build practical new life skills. My style is rooted in deep empathy and validation, creating a safe, judgment-free space to help you heal, rebuild, and thrive.

No matter how heavy your burden feels right now, please know that you are seen, valued, and you do not have to walk this path alone. Your pain is real, but so is your capacity to heal. "Having faced personal trauma and loss, I truly understand the deep impact of painful life events—and how learning new skills can help us reclaim our power."

Why did you decide to become a counselor or psychiatric provider?

Driven by a deep personal passion for mental health, I became a therapist after losing a loved one to suicide. Experiencing that profound loss firsthand ignited a powerful commitment within me to step into the arena with others during their darkest moments. I dedicated my career to counseling because I understand the weight of deep emotional pain, and I am fiercely passionate about providing the safe, empathetic, and evidencebased support individuals need to heal, build resilience, and discover that they never have to carry their burdens alone.

What types of clients do you work best with?

Individuals Processing Trauma and Loss, Families, Veterans.

What's one thing you wish all clients knew about therapy, mental health, or the healing process?

If there is one fundamental truth I wish every client knew, it is that healing is not a linear process, and having a setback does not mean you are failing.

What can clients expect in their first session with you and in the early stages of therapy?

In your first session and the early stages of our work together, you can expect a safe, pacing-focused introduction completely free of pressure or judgment.

What personal experiences or values inform your practice as a therapist/provider?

My practice as a therapist is profoundly shaped by my personal experience with trauma, sudden loss, and losing a loved one to suicide. Living through this profound grief ignited my dedication to mental health. It means I don’t sit across from clients as a detached clinical observer—I have an authentic, first-hand understanding of how deeply painful circumstances can flip a person’s world upside down.

How do you tailor therapy to meet each client’s unique needs?

I tailor therapy by treating each client as the true expert of their own life story, rejecting any "one-size-fits-all" approach.
