Why did you decide to become a counselor or psychiatric provider?


I decided to become a counselor because I want to help people be their best self, to realize that their past and their mental disorders do not define them and do not dictate their whole life. I want to help people find peace of mind and true happiness.


What types of clients do you work with best?


Adults who have a range of concerns including depression, anxiety, panic disorders, relationship issues, and addiction, as well as mood and personality disorders. My expertise is in working with the addiction population, women, and couples.


What type of clients are you most excited to work with?


I like working with individuals with mood disorders and a traumatic past.


What's one thing you wish all clients knew?


It's okay to not be okay, you are normal, and a disorder doesn't make you less human.
