What types of clients do you work with best?
I chose to become a counselor because I believe life is not just about surviving but about living fulfilling lives filled with happiness and enjoyment. My passion is to help others discover that path, empowering them to create meaning and joy in their everyday experiences.
What type of clients are you most excited to work with?
I’m most excited to work with couples and individuals navigating men’s issues, as well as clients facing a variety of diagnoses. I find fulfillment in helping people strengthen relationships, explore their identities, and overcome challenges to build healthier, more satisfying lives.
What's one thing you wish all clients knew?
I wish all clients knew that life can truly get better—sometimes it only takes small changes to create incredible transformations. Like the butterfly effect, a single, seemingly small step can lead to a hurricane of positive change and growth on the other side.
Why did you choose to practice at Thriveworks?
I chose to practice at Thriveworks because it gives me the opportunity to reach and provide my services to as many people as possible who need support, guidance, and care.
What inspires you?
I’m inspired by reading extensively and exploring different theories across various fields. Through this continual learning, I gain new insights and ideas, which help me grow both personally and professionally, and ultimately benefit my clients.
What can clients expect in their first session with you?
In the first session, clients can expect to discuss the boundaries of therapy and understand the shared responsibility we both have in engaging in this journey. It’s a chance for us to set clear expectations and ensure we’re both on the same page as we work together toward their goals.
What do you want to accomplish with an individual in their first session?
In the first session, I aim to build rapport and get to know each other. It’s important to establish a comfortable and trusting relationship, where the client feels safe and understood, setting the foundation for productive work together moving forward.
What should clients know about you before scheduling a first session?
Before scheduling a first session, clients should know that I am dedicated to creating a supportive, nonjudgmental space where we can work together as a team. I’m committed to helping them make meaningful changes in their lives, and I believe in the power of small steps leading to big transformations. My goal is to listen, understand, and support them through their journey.
What do you do for fun/on your time off?
For fun, I play video games, especially competitive ones like Valorant and League of Legends. I also enjoy playing soccer in a Sunday League—futbol is something I’m truly passionate about.
What's one thing about you that defines you (non-professional)?
One thing that defines me is my values—love, work, suffering, and desires. These elements guide my actions and shape how I approach life, helping me stay grounded and focused on what truly matters.
