Goulnissa Outechova is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with 17 years of experience in the field. Goulnissa works with clients of different ages and her main focus is helping families and children cope with their challenges, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, stress, interpersonal relationships, communication skills, and parenting.
Goulnissa Outechova was educated in Russia and obtained her master’s degree in education and psychology. She continued her studies in the U.S. to meet the educational criteria for Licensure in Mental Health in the state of Florida. Goulnissa got licensed in the state of Florida in 2013.

Why did you decide to become a counselor?
At first, it was a curiosity to better understand people’s psychology, then my curiosity became a desire to be a part of a positive transformation in other people’s lives.
What types of clients do you work with best?
The clients who are willing to do their part in a therapeutic relationship.
What type of clients are you most excited to work with?
Helping children and their families, who experienced trauma, to navigate through their challenges.
What's one thing you wish all clients knew?
Psychotherapy requires an active engagement to be productive. It is a process that may take time and patience to see positive changes. Collaborative work and consistency help the therapeutic outcome to be more successful.
What inspires you?
Being able to use challenges and obstacles in life as an opportunity for personal growth towards becoming the best version of yourself.
What can clients expect in their first session with you?
Building rapport, gathering information to understand clients’ needs and preferences by creating a nonjudgmental and supportive environment.

To identify effective ways of working together towards their goals.

I am determined to use my professional experience and knowledge to guide through the challenges that the client is facing.
What do you do for fun/on your time off?
Spending quality time with my family, painting and reading research articles to enhance my knowledge.
