Elizabeth Kulikov is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with 3 years of experience who loves hearing others’ stories. She works with individuals, couples, and families of all ages dealing with concerns including anxiety, depression, ADHD, life transitions, sexual abuse, grief, and personality disorders. Elizabeth seeks to help people uncover self-defeating thought patterns, stop self-sabotaging behaviors, and heal the wounds of past trauma and abuse. She believes that when we do not receive the consistency, nurturing, and instruction we need and deserve as children, it creates deficits that can be rectified and healed.

Elizabeth received her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of North Florida. She draws heavily on cognitive behavioral, strengths-based, and dialectical behavioral therapy modalities. Elizabeth leverages clients' strengths to help them solve their problems.

What are you going through? What have you been through? How is your life different now than you would like it to be? Elizabeth loves helping people see things through new perspectives and looks forward to working with you to make positive changes!

Get to know Elizabeth

Why did you decide to become a counselor or psychiatric provider?

Elizabeth became a therapist in mid-life after two other careers because she loves helping people! Elizabeth also deeply and personally cares for the people she serves and loves to see them flourish.

What types of clients do you work with best?

Elizabeth works well with both willing and reluctant clients. "Willing" means people who are seeking help, while "reluctant" means those who come to therapy for some other reason, for example court-ordered or at the request of a spouse or family member.

What's one thing you wish all clients knew?

Elizabeth wishes all clients knew that through the process of therapy, you might learn something new. You might be surprised at what you learn about yourself or the world.

What inspires you?

The beauty of nature inspires Elizabeth, as well as the indefatigability and resilience of the human spirit. We are all broken, but we all have the ability to heal.

What do you want to accomplish with an individual in their first session?

During your first session, Elizabeth would like to establish some trust and rapport with you, so that you feel comfortable and safe sharing what you need to share.

What should clients know about you before scheduling a first session?

Elizabeth will challenge you. When clinically appropriate, and only if necessary. Usually, it's necessary.

What do you do for fun/on your time off?

Elizabeth takes care of her one-year-old and three-year-old children, and that just about occupies all her free time and energy! Before kids, and hopefully again someday, she enjoys traveling and art.
