About Caroline
I am a registered mental health counselor intern working toward full licensure in Florida. I earned my Master of Science in clinical mental health counseling from Walden University, where I specialized in military families and culture and addictions. I also hold a Bachelor of Health Administration from the University of North Florida, where I graduated with highest honors. I completed a year-long internship at a residential treatment facility specializing in addictions and have experience working with a range of diagnoses, including PTSD, depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, ADHD, autism, OCD, and personality disorders.
I use evidence-based approaches tailored to each client, including DBT, CBT, rational emotive behavior therapy (REBT), person-centered therapy, and motivational interviewing. I believe that a compassionate, nonjudgmental approach keeps clients in the driver's seat—empowering them to find their own solutions.
Reaching out for support takes courage, especially if it's your first time. I'm here to offer a safe, welcoming space where you can heal, and I'd be honored to walk that journey with you.

"As a neurodivergent female, I understand how difficult it can be to navigate the challenges of daily life without support since we often go undiagnosed for a long period of time. "

Why did you decide to become a counselor or psychiatric provider?
I have always been fascinated by psychology and the human mind. I have always wanted to help others, too, and seriously looked into counseling after I needed it myself. Having a counselor who cares and helps you do the work is important to healing. I want to be that person. Whether you are struggling with trauma, anxiety, depression, I will gladly walk this road of recovery with you.
What types of clients do you work best with?
Any client who wants to do the work and get better is someone I am willing to work with.
What's one thing you wish all clients knew about therapy, mental health, or the healing process?
I wish that clients knew that it's OK to be scared of taking that first step toward your healing journey. The most important thing is making the decision to seek counseling. So many of the clients I've seen who were firsttimers told me that they didn't know why they were so worried because they felt so relieved getting everything off their shoulders and having someone they could talk to who was unbiased.
What can clients expect in their first session with you and in the early stages of therapy?
The first session is a "get to know you" session where I will learn more about your background and what brought you to counseling. In the early stages, we will work together as counselor and client to set goals as part of your treatment plan and make those first steps toward your healing journey.
What personal experiences or values inform your practice as a therapist/provider?
I have been on both sides of the couch - as client and counselor. I know how overwhelming or scary it can be to meet someone you don't know and talk to about your problems. However, we are there because we want to be the helping hand that pulls you out of the dark space. I want to be that compassionate, authentic counselor that allows you to seek your own resolutions with some gentle guidance.
How do you tailor therapy to meet each client’s unique needs?
No two clients are the same and what works for one client may not work for another, even if they have the same diagnoses. It's important to me to get each client's history and learn what they want to work on so I can tailor the treatment plan to their individual wants and needs.
