Why did you decide to become a counselor?
At a very young age, I had to deal with unexpected grief. After some resistance, I finally decided to seek professional help and it changed my life. This started me on my path and I decided I wanted to be able to provide the same kind of help for others.
What types of clients do you work with best?
I work best with clients who are open to change and putting the work in to achieve their goals.
What type of clients are you most excited to work with?
The type of clients I am most excited to work with are clients who have unique personalities and are passionate about something. I love seeing the light in client's eyes as they share with me what they are most passionate about.
What's one thing you wish all clients knew?
I wish all clients knew that is okay to be vulnerable or to make mistakes. We are all human.

I chose to practice at Thriveworks because I believe they truly care about the treatment of their clients and clinicians.
What inspires you?
I am inspired by my clients. It is inspiring to see a client reach their goals and build that confidence within themselves.
What can clients expect in their first session with you?
The first session with me consists of learning about each other and building that rapport with one another.
What do you want to accomplish with an individual in their first session?
I want to accomplish getting to know the client and an idea of some of the things they would like to work on together.
What should clients know about you before scheduling a first counseling session?
Clients should know that I am always honest and transparent and provide a non-judgmental environment.
What do you do for fun/on your time off?
I love to create! I enjoy painting and baking. I would love to create space for some gardening, too!

One thing that defines me is my integrity. I strive to always do my best to honor myself and others around me.
