What type of clients are you most excited to work with?
I’m passionate about working with anyone who is considering making a change in his or her life. I often encourage my clients to "just gather information" as a first step—this opens up possibilities and new opportunities for growth.
What's one thing you wish all clients knew?
Humor is a powerful tool that can unlock so many doors in the healing process..
Why did you choose to practice at Thriveworks?
I appreciate the opportunity to provide direct, personalized care to my clients, and I value the support Thriveworks offers clinicians, allowing us to practice in a way that prioritizes client focused care.
What can clients expect in their first session with you?
Clients can expect a responsive listener who is fully present and engaged.
What do you want to accomplish with an individual in their first session?
My main goal is for each client to feel truly heard and understood.
What do you do for fun/on your time off?
I enjoy walking, practicing yoga and meditation, and spending time in nature.
What inspires you?
Sunrises and sunsets—they remind me of the beauty and possibilities each day holds.
Why did you decide to become a counselor?
Listening to people has always been something I love. Growing up, I spent a lot of time with my grandparents, where sharing memories was an important part of our family culture. I find it fascinating to hear about each person's background and experiences. Though we all share similar aspects of the human experience, each person's perspective is uniquely their own.
