I am a bilingual (English–Spanish) Licensed Mental Health Counselor offering a practical, future-oriented, and strength-based approach to therapy within an empowering and grounded environment. My work is supportive, holistic, and, above all, pragmatic. I aim to create a collaborative space where we can move toward meaningful growth at a pace that feels appropriate and sustainable for you. I work with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, and life transitions. My approach is rooted in meeting you where you are, with active listening, clinical attunement, and commitment.
The pace of therapy will be determined by the client's readiness and comfort level. Sessions will emphasize the importance of choice and collaboration. Therapy will center on what works rather than solely on the problem allowing the client to identify goals and achievable steps towards positive change.
I provide personalized, compassionate care tailored to each client's needs.

"I do believe in the power of wraparound services, thus I pro-actively strive to create a supportive, holistic, and, above all, pragmatic environment tailored to each individual needs. Together, we will work at a pace that feels comfortable and sustainable."
Why did you decide to become a counselor or psychiatric provider?
I repeatedly like to look beneath behavior. When someone is angry, avoidant, impulsive, anxious or difficult, my instinct is usually not "what is wrong with this person?" But "What happened, what is this behavior communicating and is getting in the way? Im very sensitive to people being misunderstood by systems, school , agencies, workplaces, families. Individual shouldn't be reduce to diagnosis, a behavior , a rejected form, or somebody else interpretation. I like to empower people Restore the person voice and context. accompany them toward a greater agency in their own lives. Developing a person centered approach and trauma oriented approach, a multicultural approach has help me to establish trust and break the ice with many of the individuals i work with. One part of me wants to understand the behavior, while another wants to do something useful with that understanding.
What types of clients do you work best with?
Adolescents and adults.
What's one thing you wish all clients knew about therapy, mental health, or the healing process?
Talk therapy is not necessarily getting over what happened, it can mean integration. This happened to me, it affected me. I can understand its impact and now i can make choices.
What can clients expect in their first session with you and in the early stages of therapy?
My goal is to establish if i'm a good fit as the theraputic relationship is specially important. I do explore the clients presenting concerns, relevant history, current stressors and explore what are the clients expectations. I do not need to understand or fix everything. But i do try to begin to understand what brought a client to receive services, what matters to them and what they need from me for therapy to feel safe and useful.
What personal experiences or values inform your practice as a therapist/provider?
I provide validation, normalization, psychoeducation when appropriate and clarification about the therapeutic process.
How do you tailor therapy to meet each client’s unique needs?
Every client is a unique universe thus treatment plan need to be individualized and alligned to theri won goals.
