Tracy Saucier is a Licensed Clinical Therapist with over 11 years of experience. She has been described as a supportive, caring, and compassionate therapist. She specializes in anxiety disorders, bipolar disorders, coping skills, depression, and major life transitions.
Tracy completed her Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) at Springfield College School of Social Work. Tracy specializes individual therapy working primarily with adults and elderly. Her approach often utilizes a mix of cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), supportive approach, and person-centered therapy (PCT).

Why did you decide to become a counselor?
I decided to become a counselor to help people work through challenging situations in their lives. The most rewarding part of being a counselor is knowing that you had a part in affecting the life of another human being.
What types of clients do you work with best?
I enjoy working with patients who are motivated in making positive life changes.
What type of clients are you most excited to work with?
Those who truly want to make changes to their lives.
What's one thing you wish all clients knew?
Seeking therapy can feel scary but you're making the right choice. Therapy is for coping, healing, and growing. Therapy is a process.

Thriveworks seems to be flexible and the place that I can grow and build my clinical experience.
What inspires you?
Seeing people improve, learn and grow as individuals.
What can clients expect in their first session with you?
In the first session a patient can expect a non-judgmental environment to answer some questions about themselves. It isn't always easy to open up to a stranger to talk about concerns, issues or vulnerabilities. It takes time to build trust and a rapport.
What do you want to accomplish with an individual in their first session?
Rapport building.

What do you do for fun/on your time off?
I enjoy spending time with my family, exercising, traveling, and watching my kids play sports.
