About Ladie
Ladie is a Licensed Professional Counselor with several years of experience providing therapeutic services to individuals from diverse populations. She specialized in working with clients with co-occurring disorders, SUD, anxiety and depression, and more. Ladie is experienced in providing group and individual therapy to adult populations. She has also worked with children and adolescent populations. Her therapeutic approaches include motivational interviewing, solution-focused therapy, and cognitive behavior therapy (CBT). Thus, whatever you may be struggling with, her goal and commitment are to assist you on a journey to wellness and help you live a fulfilling life.
Ladie completed her Master's Certificate in Professional Counseling from Post University and completed her Master's in Forensic Psychology from Walden University. Ladie did her undergrad in Psychology at Hunter College in NYC. Ladie has a significant history working in health care and behavioral health. With her credentials and work experience, she is able to provide and deliver the support her clients are seeking.
Ladie strongly believes in providing a judgment-free zone, where clients can feel free and open to share their experiences. If you are ready to share your experiences and need support to make sense of your emotions, she is ready to listen.

Why did you decide to become a counselor?
My entire career has been in Health care/mental health. I have a long history supporting individuals in need of supports. I always knew that I would be a clinical provider as making a different in someone's life is fulfilling for me. I became a therapist because of my desire to help people. I strive to provide a level of comfort where one would feel comfortable to share their emotions, and life struggles. I often hear from past clients that I am very easy to talk to, thus I strive for instant connection.
What's one thing you wish all clients knew?
I wish all clients knew and understood their "triggers."
Why did you choose to practice at Thriveworks?
I chose Thriveworks because of the flexibility of work life balance the practice appears to offer. As a wife and mother of two small children, having that flexibility is very important to me.
What inspires you?
My family and my children inspire me.
What can clients expect in their first session with you?
Client can expect to gain a level of comfort that will make it very easy for them to engage.
What do you want to accomplish with an individual in their first session?
I am hopeful that clients will feel confident that they can develop a trusting relationship with me.
What should clients know about you before scheduling a first counseling session?
I am very flexible and easy going, and I try my best to maintain transparency.
What do you do for fun/on your time off?
I workout at least 5-6 times a week, I love spending time with family and I love to travel.
