Why did you decide to become a counselor?

My entire career has been in Health care/mental health. I have a long history supporting individuals in need of supports. I always knew that I would be a clinical provider as making a different in someone's life is fulfilling for me. I became a therapist because of my desire to help people. I strive to provide a level of comfort where one would feel comfortable to share their emotions, and life struggles. I often hear from past clients that I am very easy to talk to, thus I strive for instant connection.

What's one thing you wish all clients knew?

I wish all clients knew and understood their "triggers."

Why did you choose to practice at Thriveworks?

I chose Thriveworks because of the flexibility of work life balance the practice appears to offer. As a wife and mother of two small children, having that flexibility is very important to me.

What inspires you?

My family and my children inspire me.

What can clients expect in their first session with you?

Client can expect to gain a level of comfort that will make it very easy for them to engage.

What do you want to accomplish with an individual in their first session?

I am hopeful that clients will feel confident that they can develop a trusting relationship with me.

What should clients know about you before scheduling a first counseling session?

I am very flexible and easy going, and I try my best to maintain transparency.

What do you do for fun/on your time off?

I workout at least 5-6 times a week, I love spending time with family and I love to travel.
