Janet's life experience and skills make her uniquely qualified to support clients on their wellness journey.

Janet earned a Master’s in Mental Health Counseling from Fairfield University. She is trained in cognitive behavioral therapy, in which clients adjust negative thought patterns to alter behaviors. She utilizes a person-centered philosophy and specializes in a wellness-based approach, including self-care, sleep hygiene, exercise, and meditation.

Relationship building. A client intake including identification of why the client has initiated therapy, a review of confidentiality, and duty to warn, client goals established, check-in about how the session worked for client, schedule for frequency of sessions and next appointment.

What do you want to accomplish with an individual in their first session?

Getting to know the client and an understanding of their goals for therapy.


What do you do for fun/on your time off?



On my time off I love to exercise-I play tennis, walk ,and practice yoga. I enjoy time with friends and family and travel.
