Get to know Elia

What can clients expect in their first session with you?

In the first session, we will go through an initial intake process which includes completing the intake form, discussing what brought you into therapy and beginning to look at initial treatment goals. We will also address your schedule including days and frequency of sessions. Basically, the first session is an information gathering and getting to know you process. In addition, this first session process helps you to get a feel for the therapist and a beginning sense if I am a good treatment match for you. My goal in the first session if for you to walk away feeling knowledgeable in the process ahead and your questions answered.

What should clients know about you before scheduling a first session?

What individuals should know about me is that I am supportive and caring, easy going, likes humor, knowledgeable and intuitive. I am flexible to the needs of individuals while also firm on keeping you on track in treatment.
