About Nadia

I am an Associate Clinical Social Worker (ACSW) with a Master's in Social Work from the University of Southern California and a bachelor's degree in Psychology from California State University, Northridge. I work with adolescents and adults navigating anxiety, depression, stress, life transitions, relationship challenges, and self-esteem concerns. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, seeking healthier coping strategies, or looking to better understand yourself, I'm here to support you in working toward your goals.

I take a collaborative, person-centered approach, tailoring treatment to each client's needs. Drawing from CBT, MI, strengths-based, and solution-focused approaches, I help clients understand unhelpful thought patterns, develop coping skills, and build on their strengths. Clients can expect a supportive, nonjudgmental space to foster resilience and growth.

Wherever you are in your journey, you deserve a space where you feel heard, supported, and understood. Together, we'll work to navigate life's challenges, build on your strengths, and help you move toward the life you envision. I look forward to supporting you when you're ready to begin.

Get to know Nadia

Why did you decide to become a counselor or psychiatric provider?

I chose this path because I have always valued the power of human connection and the importance of having a safe space to share our experiences. I wanted to become a therapist so I could support people during challenging seasons of life, help them recognize their strengths, and empower them to create meaningful change. It is a privilege to walk alongside clients as they navigate their unique journeys.

What types of clients do you work best with?

I enjoy working with clients who are looking for a supportive space to better understand themselves and navigate life's challenges. I work with adolescents and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, relationship concerns, life transitions, and struggles with self-esteem. I appreciate working with clients who are ready to explore their thoughts and feelings, recognize their strengths, and take steps toward positive change.

What's one thing you wish all clients knew about therapy, mental health, or the healing process?

Therapy is not about having everything figured out. It is a space to explore your experiences, gain a deeper understanding of yourself, and develop tools to navigate life's challenges. Healing is a process that looks different for everyone, and even small steps forward can create meaningful change!

What can clients expect in their first session with you and in the early stages of therapy?

In the first session, my goal is to create a comfortable space where you can share what brings you to therapy, what you hope to work toward, and what feels most important to you. We will take time to get to know each other, explore your experiences, and begin identifying your goals for therapy. I want you to feel comfortable sharing your experiences at your own pace. As therapy progresses, we will work collaboratively to build trust, develop a plan that fits your needs, and build tools to support your growth and well-being.

What personal experiences or values inform your practice as a therapist/provider?

My practice is guided by the values of compassion, respect, and the belief that every person has their own unique story, strengths, and capacity for growth. I value creating a space where clients feel understood and accepted while honoring their individual experiences, identities, and values. I believe that meaningful therapy begins with genuine connection, collaboration, and a commitment to meeting each client where they are.

How do you tailor therapy to meet each client’s unique needs?

I believe therapy is not onesize-fits-all, so I tailor my approach based on each client's experiences, goals, strengths, and needs. I take time to understand what matters most to each person and collaborate with them to develop a plan that feels supportive and realistic. By integrating approaches such as CBT, Motivational Interviewing, strengthsbased, and solution-focused therapy, I work with clients to develop skills, gain insight, and create meaningful change at their own pace.
