About Joy
My practice—TherapyJoyZ—offers client-centered mental health services, including individual, couples, teen and family therapy as well as psychological and legal evaluations. I specialize in the treatment of anxiety, depression, ADHD, addictions, and cultural adaptation, using evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI).
I'm committed to ethical, compassionate care seven days a week, 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. During the first session, I will perform a biopsychosocial assessment to determine our therapeutic fit. I use evidence-based therapy methods and follow professional and legal standards, ensuring each client receives safe, effective, and respectful mental health support.
I feel grateful to live and work in such an inspiring environment. The beauty of the ocean naturally encourages mindfulness, and through my blog, I share reflections gathered along this coastline. Visit www.therapyjoyz.com for new content, subscribe to emails for daily mindfulness, or to learn more about my services. I look forward to meeting with you.
