About Jessica
I am a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) with 12 years of experience. I work with children, adolescents, and adults navigating concerns such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, grief, behavioral challenges, family conflict, and life transitions. I focus on understanding how social and emotional needs are shaped by environmental influences, genetics, and social interactions. My experience includes ABA therapy for children on the autism spectrum, community mental health with families, and adult private practice. I support clients in functioning at home, school, and work while navigating life’s challenges with confidence.
I earned my master’s degree in social work from California State University, Northridge. I am also certified in trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy and managing and adapting practice, structured evidence-based models used to treat anxiety, depression, trauma, and disruptive behaviors.
Since no one method works for everyone, we will explore your goals, understand the barriers you may have faced in the past, and develop a personalized plan that supports meaningful progress. Therapy can be a place where things begin to make sense, and where you can gain the insight and practical tools needed to move forward with clarity and confidence.

"As a person of color, I have firsthand experience navigating the stigma around mental health and seeking support. I understand how important it is to find a therapist who can meet you where you are and guide sessions at your own pace."

Why did you decide to become a counselor or psychiatric provider?
Having family members with their own mental health diagnosis and navigating how to support and advocate for them has been one of the primary motivators for me while pursuing a career in mental health.
What types of clients do you work best with?
I truly enjoy working with children, youth and young adults as I understand how these years are so important in the development of who we are in adulthood.
What's one thing you wish all clients knew about therapy, mental health, or the healing process?
I believe therapy should feel supportive, practical and respectful - not judgmental and overwhelming. I am here to listened and take your lead.
What can clients expect in their first session with you and in the early stages of therapy?
Because therapy is such a vulnerable space for clients I do not expect for my clients to disclose everything immediately. Trust is gradually built through building rapport and a trusting client-therapist relationships.
What personal experiences or values inform your practice as a therapist/provider?
My own experience in therapy and in supporting my family in their healing process gives me a very unique lenses on what of feels like to be on the other side of treatment. This is why I value client input and expertise int their own life.
How do you tailor therapy to meet each client’s unique needs?
I work collaboratively with my clients using developmentally informed, strengths-based approaches to identify your therapy needs.
