About Jasmine
I am an Associate Clinical Social Worker with 4 years of experience. I’ve worked with children, adolescents, and adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, and relational challenges. I approach each person’s story with empathy and curiosity, creating a safe and supportive space for healing and growth.
My therapeutic approach is grounded in cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, and acceptance and commitment therapy, helping clients build awareness, regulate emotions, and shift unhelpful patterns. I blend structure with compassion to support clients move toward meaningful personal growth.
I know reaching out for help takes courage. My goal is to meet you where you are, without judgment, and walk alongside you as you build insight, confidence, and self-trust. Together, we’ll work to create lasting change that feels both sustainable and authentic.

"As a woman of color who has known both trauma and healing, I am deeply committed to helping individuals build the capacity to rediscover safety, strength, and self-connection. "

Why did you decide to become a counselor or psychiatric provider?
I became a therapist because I wanted to offer the kind of support I didn’t have access to growing up — someone reliable, empathetic, and genuinely invested in helping others heal. I’ve always known I have the patience, curiosity, and heart for this work. I find it deeply rewarding to help people understand themselves and take steps toward meaningful, lasting change.
What types of clients do you work best with?
I enjoy working with clients who are willing to show up, wherever they are in their journey. Some come with a lot of insight, others are just starting to explore their patterns - either way, we can work together to build understanding, skills, and a sense of progress.
What's one thing you wish all clients knew about therapy, mental health, or the healing process?
Growth isn’t a straight line, and everyone hits bumps along the way. Therapy helps you take what you understand about yourself and turn it into real, practical steps toward feeling better.
What can clients expect in their first session with you and in the early stages of therapy?
Our early sessions will center around understanding you and what brought you to therapy. We’ll explore your experiences, challenges, and goals to create a plan tailored to your needs. At the same time, we’ll work on building a safe, collaborative space that supports the growth and progress we’ll pursue together.
What personal experiences or values inform your practice as a therapist/provider?
As a woman of color and someone who has navigated anxiety and empathic sensitivity, I bring both personal insight and professional expertise to my work. I create a trauma-informed, client-centered space where individuals feel seen, heard, and supported in rebuilding self-trust and resilience. Drawing from CBT, DBT, and client-centered approaches, I collaborate with clients to navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, and relational challenges in a way that honors their unique journey.
How do you tailor therapy to meet each client’s unique needs?
Every client’s journey is unique, so I focus on meeting them where they are and shaping our work to fit their experiences, goals, and pace, creating therapy that feels meaningful, practical, and supportive.
