I'm Eric C. Frank, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 20 years of clinical experience in California. I work with individuals navigating anxiety, professional burnout, life transitions, and the silent weight that makes daily life feel exhausting. If you find yourself overthinking every move or feeling deeply depleted by work and life changes, I provide a grounded, compassionate space where you don't have to carry it all alone. My goal is to help you quiet that constant noise, regain your footing, and move forward with clarity, purpose, and real peace of mind.

My style is warm, straightforward, and practical. I don't believe in one-size-fits-all therapy or endless passive listening. Instead, we'll actively work as a team to unpack what’s keeping you stuck, calm your nervous system, and build actionable strategies you can actually use in your everyday routine to navigate stress and create lasting relief.

Reaching out for support isn't a sign of weakness—it's a courageous decision to stop settling for just "getting through the day." You don't have to navigate these heavy cycles by yourself. When you're ready to catch your breath, reconnect with your strengths, and start feeling like yourself again, I invite you to take that first step.

"I believe therapy is an open, down-to-earth conversation between two people, where an authentic, collaborative relationship creates the space for true change to happen."

Why did you decide to become a counselor or psychiatric provider?

I entered this profession to help people, but I've realized that everyone has the ability to help themselves. There are times when a guide is needed in life, and I strive to be that person who creates a space for change to happen.

What types of clients do you work best with?

I thrive when collaborating with those open to new questions and different perspectives. Many of my achievements have come from individuals who found their courage with each step and persisted through challenges.

What's one thing you wish all clients knew about therapy, mental health, or the healing process?

Therapy is primarily about the process and your willingness to engage between sessions to encourage or maintain a shift in perception. Mental health encompasses many different facets; seeking therapy is only one aspect of it.

What can clients expect in their first session with you and in the early stages of therapy?

The first session focuses on identifying opportunities for change and understanding the patterns that keep a person stuck. I believe that collaboration and honest feedback make the process easier and more successful.

What personal experiences or values inform your practice as a therapist/provider?

I believe there is always a way to overcome challenges and find a path forward. I have found that most people need space to discover their own answers, and when they are ready, they embrace their own realities.

How do you tailor therapy to meet each client’s unique needs?

I customize therapy by using each conversation as an opportunity to calibrate to the person. I ensure effectiveness by obtaining continuous feedback during and between sessions.
