About Elisa
I am an Associate Clinical Social Worker with 4 years of experience supporting children, teens, adults, older adults, couples, and families through trauma, loss, and life transitions. My goal is to help clients strengthen resilience, restore connection, and achieve emotional well-being in a safe, compassionate space. Together, we'll identify strengths, build coping tools, and create positive change through collaboration and self-awareness.
I earned my Master’s in Social Work from Walden University. My approach is trauma-informed, empathic, and strengths-based. I draw from cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, mindfulness, motivational interviewing, and family systems techniques to support healing.
In our work together, you can expect warmth, authenticity, and respect. Whether you're navigating relationships, grief, or personal challenges, I'll walk alongside you to foster healing, clarity, and confidence. You deserve a space to feel heard, supported, and empowered toward lasting growth.

"As someone who has walked alongside individuals, couples, and families through trauma, loss, and life transitions, I bring an empathetic and strengths-based approach that honors each person's unique story."

Why did you decide to become a counselor or psychiatric provider?
I became a therapist because I've always believed in the power of connection and healing through understanding. Witnessing how people can rebuild hope, find resilience, and grow through support inspired me to dedicate my life to helping others navigate life's challenges and rediscover their inner strength.
What types of clients do you work best with?
I work best with clients who are motivated to understand themselves and make meaningful changes in their lives. I enjoy working with children, teens, adults, older adults, couples, and families navigating life transitions, trauma, grief, anxiety, depression, and eating-related concerns. I connect well with clients who value collaboration, compassion, and practical tools for lasting growth.
What's one thing you wish all clients knew about therapy, mental health, or the healing process?
I wish all clients knew that healing is not about perfection but progress. Therapy isn't a quick fix, but a safe space to explore, learn, and grow at your own pace. Growth takes time, curiosity, and compassion for yourself. There's no "right way" to heal-- only your way-- and I'm here to walk beside you as a discoverer. Healing is a process of understanding yourself with kindness, patience, and hope, and every effort you make matters.
What can clients expect in their first session with you and in the early stages of therapy?
In our first session, my goal is to help you feel safe, heard, and understood. We’ll discuss your current concerns, gather background information, and begin identifying your goals for therapy. I’ll also review confidentiality, professional boundaries, and what you can expect from our work together. In the early stages of therapy, we’ll focus on building trust, developing comfort with the process, and collaborating to create a treatment plan that supports your needs and personal growth.
What personal experiences or values inform your practice as a therapist/provider?
My practice is grounded in empathy, integrity, and respect for every individual’s story. My experience in community mental health taught me the value of meeting clients where they are and honoring their resilience. I strive to create a nonjudgmental, compassionate space where clients feel supported, understood, and empowered to grow at their own pace.
How do you tailor therapy to meet each client’s unique needs?
I tailor therapy by meeting each client where they are and focusing on their unique goals, strengths, and life experiences. I draw from evidence-based approaches such as CBT, DBT, ACT, and motivational interviewing, adapting techniques to each person’s comfort and pace. I believe therapy works best when it’s collaborative, culturally sensitive, and aligned with what feels meaningful to the client.
