I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with 9 years of experience. I’ve worked in group homes and shelters supporting teens, trauma and sex trafficking survivors, and individuals facing addiction, depression, and anxiety. Many of my clients struggle with finding their worth, identity and learning to regulate emotions. I aim to create a safe and supportive space where clients can develop mindfulness, self-regulation, and inner healing.

I earned my Master’s in Counseling Psychology from Argosy University. My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and straightforward. I meet clients where they are and blend evidence-based practices such as cognitive behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, and narrative therapy to promote insight and emotional balance.

The hardest part is asking for help, and once you do, you’re already one step closer to healing. Allow me to be the navigation in the GPS we call life. You know your destination, and it’s okay to ask for guidance along the way. Together, we can create a path toward growth, emotional balance, and meaningful change.

"As a Black woman who grew up in a home where mental health was rarely talked about, I understand how difficult it can be to seek support, and I’m passionate about helping people of color access resources, heal, and reconnect with all parts of themselves."

Why did you decide to become a counselor or psychiatric provider?

To provide services to my community that i did not see or know about growing up

What types of clients do you work best with?

People of color, adults

What's one thing you wish all clients knew about therapy, mental health, or the healing process?

That it does not have to be done alone

What can clients expect in their first session with you and in the early stages of therapy?

Building rapport and discussing goals, needs and therapy expectations

What personal experiences or values inform your practice as a therapist/provider?

Having a community and supportive people who valued my mental health and validated my life experiences

How do you tailor therapy to meet each client’s unique needs?

I am very collaborative, I believe the client is the driver and I want to make sure client feels safe and comfortable to advocate when they don't like or agree with something in session
