About Arsineh

I am an Associate Clinical Social Worker with 7 years of experience supporting individuals through life’s challenges. I specialize in helping clients manage depression, anxiety, and self-doubt while guiding them toward greater self-awareness and empowerment. My approach emphasizes compassion, collaboration, and practical tools to help clients strengthen resilience, improve relationships, and find clarity in their personal and professional goals. I’m committed to providing a safe, supportive space for growth and healing.

I earned my Master’s in Social Work from Walden University. I use evidence-based approaches, including cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, and personalized coping strategies. My goal is to help clients explore emotions, confront fears, and build skills that promote lasting emotional wellness and balance.

I understand that reaching out for help takes courage, and I aim to meet you where you are, offering empathy, perspective, and actionable support. Together, we’ll work to unlock your potential, restore confidence, and create meaningful change, one step at a time.

Why did you decide to become a counselor or psychiatric provider?

My journey to becoming a therapist was born from a deep desire to help others navigate their struggles and find healing. Growing up, I witnessed the profound impact that support and understanding can have on a person’s life. I saw friends and family face challenges, and it inspired me to learn how to be a source of comfort and guidance. I realized that everyone experiences pain and uncertainty, and I wanted to create a safe space where people can explore their feelings without judgment. Becoming a therapist allows me to be that guiding light for others, helping them uncover their strength, resilience, and hope, and that’s what drives my passion for this work every day.

What types of clients do you work best with?

I work best with individuals who are ready for change and open to exploring new perspectives. My ideal clients are those who are seeking support to navigate challenges such as anxiety, depression, or life transitions. They are often motivated to take a proactive approach to their mental health, whether that means developing coping strategies, improving their relationships, or finding a deeper sense of purpose. I thrive when working with clients who are willing to invest in themselves, embrace vulnerability, and engage in the therapeutic process.

What's one thing you wish all clients knew about therapy, mental health, or the healing process?

One thing I wish all clients would know about therapy is that it is a courageous journey—one that requires time and patience. Healing is not always a linear process; there will be ups and downs along the way. It’s essential to embrace each step, no matter how small, and recognize that progress takes time. Therapy is a safe space to explore your thoughts and feelings, and it's completely normal to experience moments of discomfort as you grow.

What can clients expect in their first session with you and in the early stages of therapy?

In your first session with me, you can expect a warm and welcoming environment where you can feel at ease to share your story. We'll begin by discussing your reasons for seeking therapy, your goals, and what you hope to achieve through our time together. I’ll ask questions to help me understand your background and any challenges you're facing, but I’ll also encourage you to share whatever feels important for you. In the early stages of therapy, we’ll focus on building a trusting relationship, which is crucial for effective healing. You'll have the opportunity to explore your thoughts and emotions in a supportive space, and we’ll work together to develop a plan tailored to your needs and aspirations.

How do you tailor therapy to meet each client’s unique needs?

I tailor therapy to meet each client’s unique needs by taking a personalized and holistic approach, recognizing that no two individuals are the same. Each person brings their own experiences, values, and challenges to the therapeutic process, and it's essential for me to honor that individuality. By establishing a strong therapeutic relationship built on trust and understanding, I create a space where you feel safe to explore your thoughts and emotions openly. My goal is to empower you by providing the support and tools you need to navigate your journey toward healing and growth.
