Why did you decide to become a counselor?
I am naturally drawn to, and inspired by people's stories, and I am passionate about assisting people in overcoming their hurdles and achieve positive resolutions. I like to take on the challenge of understanding my clients, and accompanying them through their journey toward serenity and positive transformation in their own terms. I view my work as emotionally and intellectually rewarding.

I wish all prospective clients knew that the achievement of serenity and contentment is attainable for everyone and at any age. I wish they knew that psychotherapy can be a very rewarding endeavor that will help them in gaining perspectives, finding unexpected solutions, building life-long personal resilience, and allowing positive transformation in all aspects of life.
Why did you choose to practice at Thriveworks?
I chose to practice at Thriveworks because I believe that the telepractice of psychotherapy ensures access and continuity to mental health services to a greater number of people. Current research has indicated that teletherapy constitutes a very effective form of therapy.
What inspires you?
The process of continuous learning and personal development through life is what inspires me the most.
What can clients expect in their first session with you?
Any client, on their first session with me, can expect a safe and compassionate relational context where they can begin expressing their emotional narrative. A client can also expect needed encouragement, legitimate and honest reassurance and, when appropriate, a bit of sense of humor.
What do you want to accomplish with an individual in their first session?
During a first session, I focus on building a trusting partnership (therapeutic relationship) with my client. I want my client to understand that he/she/they can be heard. I also want my client to trust that, through an appropriate therapeutic process, there is much hope for the achievement of positive change. During the first session, I also provide psychoeducation on important aspects of the therapy process.
What should clients know about you before scheduling a first counseling session?
I would like my clients to know that the therapeutic process takes time, commitment, and trust to unfold.
What do you do for fun/on your time off?
On my time off, I like to engage in creative activities such as writing, drawing and film-making. I also like to be in nature with my family and pets.
On my time off, I like to engage in creative activities such as writing, drawing and film-making. I also like to be in nature with my family and pets.
Curiosity, gratitude, and the pursuit of positive growth for my self and the human society with respect of nature and all creatures in the world.
Can you tell us about a success you had with a client?
The client with whom I had the most success, is that client who trusted the therapeutic process and, week after week, learned that they deserved to be loved.
