About Manju
I am a Board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with 23 years of nursing experience in psychiatric and medical-surgical care for children, adolescents, and adults. I earned my BSN in India and my PMHNP degree from Walden University. I specialize in treating mood disorders, trauma, ADHD, psychotic disorders, substance use, and chronic mental illness through comprehensive evaluations, medication management, and brief psychotherapy. My approach is compassionate, evidence-based, trauma-informed, and collaborative, empowering patients in a stigma-free environment.
My approach is patient-centered, compassionate, and evidence-based. I use active listening, motivational interviewing, trauma-informed care, and shared decision-making to create individualized treatment plans. I strive to build trusting relationships where patients feel heard, respected, and empowered to participate in their journey toward lasting recovery.
Seeking help is a sign of strength, and you don't have to face life's challenges alone. I'm committed to providing compassionate, judgment-free care where you feel heard and supported. Together, we'll create a personalized plan for healing. When you're ready, I invite you to schedule an appointment and begin your journey toward better mental health.

"You are not defined by what you've been through—you are defined by the strength it takes to keep moving forward."

Why did you decide to become a counselor or psychiatric provider?
I chose to become a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner because, throughout my years as a nurse, I saw how deeply mental health affects every aspect of a person's life. I realized that listening, understanding, and providing compassionate care could make a meaningful difference in a patient's recovery. I wanted to expand my ability to help individuals by combining psychotherapy, medication management, and patient education to empower them to achieve lasting mental wellness. My goal is to provide evidencebased, personalized care in a supportive, stigmafree environment where every patient feels heard, respected, and valued.
What types of clients do you work best with?
All life span.
What's one thing you wish all clients knew about therapy, mental health, or the healing process?
One thing I want every patient to know is that mental health conditions are real, treatable medical conditions—not personal weaknesses. Seeking help is a sign of strength, not failure. Healing takes time, but with the right support, treatment, and commitment, recovery is possible. You deserve to be heard, respected, and supported every step of the way.
What can clients expect in their first session with you and in the early stages of therapy?
During your first appointment, you can expect a welcoming, supportive, and judgmentfree environment where we take the time to get to know you. We'll discuss your concerns, symptoms, medical and mental health history, current medications, and treatment goals. Together, we'll develop a personalized care plan, review treatment options, and answer any questions you may have so you feel informed, supported, and confident about your next steps.
What personal experiences or values inform your practice as a therapist/provider?
My values as a provider are rooted in compassion, respect, empathy, and integrity. With more than 23 years of nursing experience, I understand that every person's story is unique and deserves to be heard without judgment. I believe in building trusting relationships through open communication, cultural sensitivity, and collaboration. My goal is to create a safe, supportive environment where patients feel comfortable sharing their concerns, actively participating in their care, and working toward meaningful, lasting mental wellness.
How do you tailor therapy to meet each client’s unique needs?
I believe that no two individuals are alike, so I tailor each session to meet your unique needs, goals, and life experiences. I take the time to understand your concerns, strengths, cultural background, and personal values before developing an individualized treatment plan. Whether you need medication management, supportive therapy, education, or coping strategies, we will work together to create an approach that fits your lifestyle and supports your long-term mental health and well-being.
