I am a Board-Certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) with a Master of Science in Nursing. My approach to care is compassionate, collaborative, and patient-centered. I work with individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, mood disorders, ADHD, stress, trauma-related concerns, and difficulties with emotional regulation and life transitions. My goal is to develop an individualized treatment plan that reflects each patient’s needs, preferences, and goals. Through evidence-based medication management and a holistic approach, I help patients build resilience and regain a sense of hope and control.

My approach to care is compassionate, collaborative and evidence-based. I take time to listen and develop individualized treatment plans that align with each client’s needs and goals. My areas of focus include depression, anxiety, mood disorders, DMDD, OCD, ADHD, stress management, and emotional wellness. Clients can expect a safe, judgment-free environment.

You don’t have to navigate life’s challenges alone, and you don’t have to have everything figured out to begin your healing journey. I’m here to listen, support you without judgment, and help you take meaningful steps toward feeling better. Your story matters, and positive change is possible. When you’re ready, I invite you to schedule an appointment.

"I strongly believe healing begins when you feel heard, understood, and supported, and I'm committed to creating a safe, compassionate space where you can find hope, build resilience, and become the best version of yourself."

Why did you decide to become a counselor or psychiatric provider?

I decided to become a Psychiatric- Mental Health Nurse Practitioner because I have a genuine passion for helping people navigate mental health challenges and improve their quality of life. I believe mental health is just as important as physical health, and everyone deserves compassionate, respectful, and judgement-free care. I wanted to make a meaningful difference by helping individuals feel heard, understand their mental health, and find effective treatment that supports their healing and growth. Being a PMHNP allows me to combine my clinical knowledge with empathy and build trusting relationships with patients as they work toward recovery, resilience, and a healthier, more fulfilling life.

What types of clients do you work best with?

I work well with clients experiencing depression, anxiety, mood disorder, ADHD, and stress related concerns. I enjoy helping individuals who may feel overwhelmed, misunderstood, or uncertain about how to manage their symptoms. My approach is patient-centered and collaborative, focusing on understanding each person's unique experiences, identifying their treatment goals, and developing individualized plans that may include evidence-based medication management and supportive guidance. I especially value building trusting relationships with clients who are ready to take steps toward improving their mental health, developing health coping strategies, and achieving a better quality of life.

What's one thing you wish all clients knew about therapy, mental health, or the healing process?

One thing I wish every client knew is that healing is not a straight line, and you don't have to be perfect to make progress. Seeking help is a sign of strength, not weakness, and you deserve compassion and support at every stage of your journey. With patience, the right support, and willingness to take small steps forward, meaningful change is possible, and you are never defined by your struggles.

What personal experiences or values inform your practice as a therapist/provider?

My practice is guided by compassion, empathy, respect, and the belief that every individual deserves to feel heard and understood. I value treating the whole person rather than focusing solely on a diagnosis or symptoms. I recognize that everyone has a unique story, and life experiences can significantly influence mental health and wellbeing. These values inspire me to create a safe, judgement free environment where clients feel comfortable sharing their concerns and participating in their treatment decisions. As a provider, my goal is to build trusting relationships, empower individuals to advocate for their mental health, and remind them that healing is possible with the right support, patience, and individualized care.
