About Jenel
Hi, I'm an ANCC Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with experience providing compassionate, evidence-based psychiatric care. I work with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, PTSD, and life transitions. Many of my clients come to me feeling overwhelmed or stuck, seeking clarity, emotional balance, and personalized medication management. Together, we understand your story, ease your symptoms, and build practical tools so you feel grounded and reach your goals.
My approach combines evidence-based psychopharmacology, supportive therapy, and psychoeducation tailored to your goals. I specialize in treating anxiety, depression, ADHD, mood disorders, and PTSD. With me, you can expect an empathetic, collaborative environment where your voice is heard, treatment is clear, and we work toward balance and growth.
Taking the first step toward mental wellness takes courage, but you don't have to navigate it alone. Wherever you are, I'm here to offer a safe, supportive space where you can heal and thrive at your own pace. If you're ready to prioritize your peace and well-being, reach out and schedule an appointment today.

"Drawing on years of specialized mental health experience, I view our work as a collaborative partnership—taking the time to understand your unique story so we can build a personalized, evidence-based path forward together."

What's one thing you wish all clients knew about therapy, mental health, or the healing process?
Healing isn't a linear process, and progress rarely looks like a straight line moving upward every single day. There will be weeks where you feel like you've cracked the code, and weeks where an old pattern or sudden wave of anxiety makes you feel like you're back at square one. Real growth happens in those messy middle moments—learning to meet yourself with self-compassion instead of frustration when a hard day happens doesn't mean you're failing; it usually means the real work is taking root.
What can clients expect in their first session with you and in the early stages of therapy?
In our first session, we will focus on your unique story, current challenges, and goals for care, while reviewing your history and past treatment experiences to understand what truly works for you. I believe in meeting you where you are, so you can expect a warm, judgment-free space focused on listening rather than rushing into decisions. In the early stages of treatment, we will collaborate to build a tailored plan—combining clear psychoeducation with manageable steps—so you feel informed, empowered, and fully supported without ever feeling overwhelmed.
How do you tailor therapy to meet each client’s unique needs?
Rather than applying a onesize-fits-all approach, I integrate evidence-based psychiatric care and supportive therapy techniques around your personal priorities—whether that means prioritizing symptom relief, improving daily functioning, or navigating a specific life transition. I break down diagnosis, neurobiology, and medication options into clear, manageable information tailored to your learning style, empowering you to make informed choices about your own care. Therapy is an evolving partnership. We regularly check in on your progress and adjust our approach, strategies, or treatment plan as your needs change over time.
