About Fadumo
I am a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP) with 3 years of experience providing compassionate mental health care across the lifespan. My background as both a nurse and a provider has shaped my calm, steady, and holistic approach to treatment. I help individuals navigate anxiety, depression, stress, and daily challenges by creating a supportive environment where clients feel heard, respected, and understood.
I earned my master’s degree in nursing from Ohio University and use a patient-centered, safety-focused approach to guide care. I draw from methods such as motivational interviewing to tailor treatment to each person’s needs and goals, helping clients build insight, strengthen coping skills, and create meaningful change.
I am committed to offering a warm, collaborative space where you can explore your mental health needs at a pace that feels comfortable. Your story matters, and you deserve care that honors your voice. When you feel ready, I invite you to schedule an appointment so we can take the next steps in your healing together.

"As someone from a background that did not always understand the importance of mental health, I want to ensure that these needs are provided for all."

Why did you decide to become a counselor or psychiatric provider?
I have always believed that mental health and physical health are entwined and I have always wanted to ensure that the mental health of those I care for are assessed and cared for.
What types of clients do you work best with?
Work best with clients with anxiety disorders and depression.
What's one thing you wish all clients knew about therapy, mental health, or the healing process?
Mental health is a process and it takes time to get to a more comfortable and stable place and we need to be patient with the process.
What can clients expect in their first session with you and in the early stages of therapy?
Expect a lot of conversation to better know about one another to better help the client to navigate their care with me.
What personal experiences or values inform your practice as a therapist/provider?
My own experience as someone that saw how mental health was ignored in my community and the mental health needs were not as well discussed as they needed to be which pushed me to discuss it and normalize the discussion and needs.
How do you tailor therapy to meet each client’s unique needs?
I tailor care with the clients needs and comfort level and ensure that communication and safety are prioritized and from there I work in collaboration with the client to help ensure their needs are met.
