About Cimone
I am a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP) with 10 years of experience providing comprehensive mental health care. I specialize in supporting women across the lifespan, with a focus on mood disorders, anxiety, trauma, and life transitions. I also have extensive experience working with military service members, veterans, and their families, and I understand the unique challenges they face when seeking mental health support.
I earned my master’s degree in nursing from Frontier Nursing University. My approach integrates medical and mental health expertise through evidence-based prescribing and a collaborative, client-centered style. I consider biological, hormonal, social, and cultural factors when developing individualized treatment plans.
I recognize that seeking help can feel overwhelming, and I strive to create a supportive, respectful space where you feel heard and valued. Together, we will work toward greater understanding, healing, and meaningful growth. I invite you to take the next step toward prioritizing your well-being and quality of life.

"By drawing on my unique experiences as a military dependent spouse, a military healthcare provider, and the global perspective shaped by travels and Caribbean upbringing, I am here to help you navigate your mental health needs so you don’t have to suffer in silence."
Get to know Cimone
Why did you decide to become a counselor or psychiatric provider?
I decided to become a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner because I saw firsthand the lack of access to mental health services during the pandemic. Many of the patients I cared for in my women’s health practice faced long wait times to establish mental health care, leaving them feeling discouraged and unsupported. I pursued this role to help close that gap, providing timely, integrated care that addresses both the medical and mental health needs of my patients.
What types of clients do you work best with?
I work best with women from early teens to post-menopause.
What's one thing you wish all clients knew about therapy, mental health, or the healing process?
Mental health and healing is viewed as a marathon, progress takes time, patience, and steady steps forward.
What can clients expect in their first session with you and in the early stages of therapy?
Clients can expect a safe, nonjudgmental space where they can share what brought them to seek mental health services, discuss their history, and collaborate with me on treatment decisions that support their goals.
What personal experiences or values inform your practice as a therapist/provider?
I have deep respect for each person’s lived experience. Growing up in a diverse community taught me how much culture shapes the way we understand mental health. Because of that, I approach clients with openness and curiosity, asking rather than assuming, and tailoring support to fit who they are and what they value.
How do you tailor therapy to meet each client’s unique needs?
A key part of effective therapy is developing a clear understanding of the client’s goals, what they want to improve, change, or achieve, and identifying the barriers that make those goals difficult to attain. This includes emotional struggles, environmental stressors, skill gaps, systemic challenges, or past experiences that may be influencing the present.
