I am a psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP-BC) and Diplomate of the American College of Lifestyle Medicine (DipACLM). My clinical experience includes pediatric behavioral health, addiction treatment, academia as an adjunct professor, and medication management—all of which have strengthened my passion for holistic mental health care. With lifestyle medicine, my mission is to empower you to build sustainable lifestyle habits that support your long-term mental and physical wellness. Medications are incorporated when clinically indicated and used conservatively within individualized treatment plans.
I prioritize the six pillars of lifestyle medicine—optimal nutrition, physical activity, stress management, restorative sleep, social connection, and risky substance avoidance—to help minimize symptoms of anxiety, depression, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), sleep disturbances, and other conditions as applicable.
Together, we will work toward your goals. I will provide guidance, support, and accountability, and you will bring your dedication to building sustainable lifestyle habits. My goal is to inspire you to thrive—body and mind—by ensuring you feel heard and empowered on your mental wellness journey. I hope to meet you soon!

"As a woman of color and member of the LGBTQ+ community, I bring both lived experience and clinical understanding of the mental health disparities that affect marginalized communities, and I strive to provide affirming, whole-person care where clients feel seen, respected, and understood."
Why did you decide to become a counselor or psychiatric provider?
To support individuals from a empathy and clinically professional standpoint. As a registered nurse, I was limited in how I could support my patients.
What types of clients do you work best with?
Clients willing to actively participate in their treatment; clients who value constructive feedback and accountability.
What's one thing you wish all clients knew about therapy, mental health, or the healing process?
It is not a quick fix - it requires time, flexibility, and dedication.
What can clients expect in their first session with you and in the early stages of therapy?
Clients can expect to feel heard, supported, and empowered.
What personal experiences or values inform your practice as a therapist/provider?
Supporting my mental health actively (i.e., lifestyle medicine) rather than with medication. As a registered nurse, I experienced how being a safe space for someone can positively impact them.
How do you tailor therapy to meet each client’s unique needs?
I tailor therapy by first understanding the client’s goals, lived experiences, strengths, challenges, and readiness for change. From there, I use an individualized, collaborative approach that may incorporate cognitive behavioral strategies, motivational interviewing, lifestyle medicine, and other evidence-based interventions based on what best fits the client’s needs.
