About Kehinde
I am a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP) with 11 years of experience supporting children, adolescents, and adults navigating anxiety, depression, mood disorders, and stress-related concerns. I offer a calm, collaborative space where you can feel respected, understood, and empowered. My approach blends evidence-based care, medication management, and compassionate dialogue to help you build clarity, strengthen stability, and move toward meaningful, lasting change.
I earned my master’s degree in nursing from Walden University. My work integrates evidence-based psychotherapy, patient-centered collaboration, and thoughtful medication management. I help clients stabilize their mood, understand their symptoms, and develop healthier patterns through practical tools that support sustainable emotional well-being.
Reaching out for support is an act of strength, and you deserve a space where you feel heard and supported. My goal is for you to leave each session with clarity, confidence, and a greater sense of balance. When you are ready, I welcome you to schedule an appointment so we can begin this work together and take the next step toward healing and stability.

"As a board-certified mental health nurse practitioner, I draw on extensive clinical experience to provide evidence-based, culturally informed care tailored to each client’s unique needs."

Why did you decide to become a counselor or psychiatric provider?
I became a psychiatric provider because I wanted to help people heal beyond just the physical level. Mental health impact's identity, relationships, daily functioning, and purpose, and I wanted to support clients in reclaiming those parts of their lives.
What types of clients do you work best with?
I work best with children, adolescents, and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, mood disorders, and stress-related concerns. I connect especially well with clients who appreciate a balanced approach that combines clinical expertise, education, and practical strategies they can apply in everyday life.
What's one thing you wish all clients knew about therapy, mental health, or the healing process?
One thing I want clients to know is that therapy and mental health care work best as a partnership; your voice, your goals, and your honesty are powerful tools in the healing process
What can clients expect in their first session with you and in the early stages of therapy?
During the first session, clients can expect a gentle, supportive conversation where we explore what brought them in and what they hope to achieve. I prioritize helping clients feel comfortable, heard, and understood from the very beginning. In the early stages of therapy, we focus on building trust, identifying goals, and developing a collaborative plan that supports steady, meaningful progress.
What personal experiences or values inform your practice as a therapist/provider?
Growing up in a community where mental health was rarely discussed has taught me the importance of creating a safe, stigma-free space where clients feel comfortable exploring their emotional well-being.
How do you tailor therapy to meet each client’s unique needs?
I tailor therapy by taking time to understand each client’s history, symptoms, strengths, and goals, then using evidence-based interventions that best fit their unique needs. I adjust the pace, approach, and tools based on how they respond, ensuring their care feels personalized, flexible, and supportive.
