About Joel
I am a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP) with 18 years of experience in nursing and behavioral health. I work with clients across the lifespan who are navigating a wide range of emotional and mental health challenges and are seeking thoughtful, collaborative care. I strive to create a supportive environment where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered throughout their treatment journey.
I earned my master’s degree in nursing from Eastern University. My clinical approach is mindfulness-based and grounded in helping clients harness the power of the present moment to better understand their thoughts, emotions, and lived experiences. I value meaningful dialogue and individualized care.
I believe healing begins with connection and self-awareness. My goal is to help you build insight, develop effective coping skills, and move toward the highest version of yourself while living life on your terms. I welcome the opportunity to support you—reach out today to schedule an appointment.

"As a person with lived experience, I seek first to understand, observe closely without judgment, and act compassionately towards those I meet personally and professionally, which allows me to make informed decisions to help them meet their highest good."
