About Daniel
I am a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with 6 years of experience and a foundation in family primary care. Since beginning my nursing career in 2011, I’ve dedicated my work to helping adults manage depression, anxiety, trauma, and major life transitions. I specialize in supporting clients as they build healthy coping skills, strengthen resilience, and feel empowered to move forward with clarity, confidence, and self-compassion.
I earned my Master’s in Nursing from Wilkes University. Combining my medical and mental health background, I provide holistic, evidence-based care tailored to each person’s unique story. My approach integrates thoughtful medication management with supportive therapy focused on balance, insight, and emotional well-being.
Taking the first step toward care can feel daunting, but you don’t have to do it alone. Through a thoughtful blend of medication management and supportive therapy, I’ll partner with you to find balance, stability, and renewed hope. Together, we’ll build the foundation for lasting wellness and growth.

"Having witnessed the healing power of medication and meaningful connection, I approach care with empathy, curiosity, and a deep respect for each person's unique journey."
Get to know Daniel
Why did you decide to become a counselor or psychiatric provider?
Early in my nursing career, I witnessed how compassionate, holistic mental health care could transform lives. That experience inspired me to combine medical knowledge with empathy and psychotherapy to help others heal and thrive.
What types of clients do you work best with?
I work best with adults experiencing mood, anxiety, or trauma-related disorders who are motivated to engage in treatment and explore both pharmacologic and psychotherapeutic interventions.
What's one thing you wish all clients knew about therapy, mental health, or the healing process?
I wish all clients knew that healing is a gradual process that involves patience, consistency, and self-compassion. Progress often comes in small steps, and both therapy and medication can play important roles in restoring balance.
What can clients expect in their first session with you and in the early stages of therapy?
In the first session, clients can expect a thorough evaluation that explores their symptoms, history, and goals for treatment. Early sessions focus on building trust, developing a collaborative treatment plan, and setting a foundation for measurable progress and ongoing support.
What personal experiences or values inform your practice as a therapist/provider?
I value empathy, perseverance, and genuine connection qualities that deeply inform my work as a provider. Beginning my nursing career in 2011 and later transitioning from family primary care to psychiatry taught me the importance of treating the whole person.
How do you tailor therapy to meet each client’s unique needs?
I tailor treatment by taking time to understand each client's individual history, goals, and preferences. Drawing on both psychotherapy and evidence-based medication management, I develop personalized care plans that address emotional, behavioral, and biological factors.
