About Sarah

I am a dedicated practitioner providing compassionate and expert mental health care to individuals across Oregon. I offer individual therapy and medication management supporting adolescents and adults in navigating their mental health challenges. I specialize in treating ADHD, mood disorders, and gender-affirming care. I also have extensive experience addressing PTSD and trauma-related disorders. My passion for working with clients in addiction medicine has been impactful in my 11 years of professional experience.

With a patient-centered approach, I collaborate closely with clients to develop personalized treatment plans that promote long-term well-being. I work with individuals to process past experiences and build resilience. I support individuals with complex needs including psychosis and schizophrenia.

By integrating my clinical expertise with a warm, empathetic approach, I empower clients to gain stability and lead fulfilling lives. I understand the profound impact mental health challenges can have on daily life, and I work diligently to ensure all clients feel seen, heard, and supported.

Get to know Sarah

Why did you decide to become a counselor or psychiatric provider?

I started working in mental health when I was 18 and immediately felt like it was a calling of mine to assist others in advocating for themselves regardless of their diagnoses.

What types of clients do you work best with?

Every client can feel safe to be who they are when working with me.

What's one thing you wish all clients knew about therapy, mental health, or the healing process?

If you find the right fit with mental health providers, your life will change on many aspects, not just your mood.

What can clients expect in their first session with you and in the early stages of therapy?

The ability to ask any questions, express any concerns, and provide me with their treatment plan goals if they have any in mind.

What personal experiences or values inform your practice as a therapist/provider?

44 years of living real life with anxiety, trauma, loss, and other events that have occurred that effect my mental health as well.

How do you tailor therapy to meet each client’s unique needs?

I meet the client where they are at and assist them in obtaining their goals, what ever that looks like for each client.
