About Mark
Mark is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC). He has over 8 years of experience managing and treating adults facing a range of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, bipolar disorders, OCD, and ADHD. Mark is driven to provide the best possible care to each person.
Mark completed his Master's degree in Nursing from the Ohio State University. He has a background in Social Work, which gives him a unique perspective for making treatment recommendations for the adults he works with. Mark also has strong clinical skills and brings a compassionate approach to each clinical encounter. He has provided medication management in a variety of settings, including community mental health, a psychiatric hospital, and a partial hospitalization program.

Get to know Mark
Why did you decide to become a psychiatric provider?
I enjoy helping others to feel well, enjoy life, and pursue their interests. I was a social worker before deciding to return to school to study nursing. I felt doing so would allow me new ways and opportunities to help others.
What type of clients are you most excited to work with?
I am most excited to work with patients who are experiencing benefit from medication for the first time.
What's one thing you wish all clients knew?
Sometimes it takes time to find a therapeutic medication regimen. Don’t give up, don’t lose hope that you can feel better.
What inspires you?
When people demonstrate support and compassion to others.
What can clients expect in their first session with you?
The opportunity to explain their story of the experiences and challenges bringing them in for treatment.
What should clients know about you before scheduling a first counseling session?
I enjoy my work, and will strive to do my best for them.
What do you do for fun/on your time off?
Spend time with family and follow my favorite sports teams. I also enjoy true crime stories.
