About Jessica
I am a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP) with 14 years of experience supporting clients through anxiety, depression, mood disorders, trauma, and major life transitions. I provide care for individuals seeking clarity, balance, and healing. My goal is to understand each person’s unique experiences and empower them to build the well-being they deserve.
I earned my Doctorate of Nursing Practice from Frontier Nursing University. I take a holistic, collaborative approach that considers the many factors influencing mental health. I focus on creating a safe, supportive space where clients feel engaged in their care. Together, we build tools and strategies that support meaningful, lasting growth.
I understand how important it is to feel heard, understood, and supported. If you are ready to take the next step in your mental health journey, I would be honored to walk alongside you. You do not have to navigate this alone—let’s begin this work together.

"I approach every client with the same empathy and patience I’d want for myself or my own family, and I’m committed to making your mental health journey feel safe and supported."

Why did you decide to become a counselor or psychiatric provider?
I decided to become a psychiatric provider because I’ve always been drawn to the deeper stories behind people’s struggles — the places where emotions, experiences, and resilience intersect. Over time, I realized how many individuals move through life feeling unseen or overwhelmed, often without the support they truly need. I wanted to be someone who could sit with people in those moments, help them make sense of what they’re carrying, and guide them toward healing.
Mental health care allows me to combine science, compassion, and connection in a way that feels deeply meaningful. Supporting patients as they discover their strengths, gain clarity, and build the lives they want is a privilege I never take for granted. It’s incredibly fulfilling to witness someone transform not because they were “fixed,” but because they were finally understood, supported, and empowered. That’s why I chose this path — and why I continue to love the work every day.
What's one thing you wish all clients knew about therapy, mental health, or the healing process?
One thing I wish all clients knew is that healing — whether through therapy, medication, or both — is a gradual, evolving process. It’s completely normal for progress to come in waves and for us to make adjustments along the way. Finding the right medication or uncovering the insights that shift your perspective can take time, and none of that means you’re doing anything “wrong.” It simply means we’re learning what your mind and body need to feel supported.
What can clients expect in their first session with you and in the early stages of therapy?
In a first session, clients can expect a calm, supportive conversation focused on understanding who they are and what brought them in. We’ll talk about your current concerns, your history, and your goals — but always at a pace that feels comfortable for you. My priority is creating a space where you feel heard, respected, and never rushed.
How do you tailor therapy to meet each client’s unique needs?
We'll work together to build a personalized plan. If medication might be helpful, I’ll explain options clearly, discuss potential benefits and side effects, and make decisions collaboratively.
