I work with adolescents and adults navigating depression, anxiety, trauma, mood disorders, and life transitions. Many of my clients seek greater clarity, stability, and a renewed sense of control. Whether you are aiming to better understand your symptoms, enhance daily functioning, or build sustainable strategies for long-term mental wellness, I am here to support that process with intention, collaboration, and care.
My approach is collaborative, structured, and grounded in evidence-based care, integrating medication management with supportive, insight-oriented feedback. I have a particular interest in mood disorders and trauma-related conditions. You can expect a balanced approach focused on symptom relief, sustainable coping strategies, and lasting resilience.
Seeking support can feel like a big step, and it’s not always easy, but you don’t have to navigate it alone. Wherever you are in your journey, you deserve to feel heard, supported, and understood. When you’re ready, I welcome you to take the next step toward feeling more grounded, empowered, and well.

Why did you decide to become a counselor or psychiatric provider?
I decided to become a psychiatric provider because I have always been drawn to work that allows me to support people in a meaningful and lasting way. Mental health care is deeply personal, and I value the opportunity to help individuals feel seen, understood, and empowered as they navigate difficult seasons in their lives. I was especially drawn to this field because it combines clinical knowledge with human connection, allowing me to provide compassionate, evidencebased care that can truly improve a person’s quality of life.
What types of clients do you work best with?
I work best with adolescents and adults who are motivated to better understand themselves and are open to engaging in a collaborative treatment process. Many of my clients are navigating depression, anxiety, mood instability, or the emotional impact of life transitions, and are seeking greater clarity, stability, and a sense of control in their lives. I also work well with individuals who appreciate a structured, thoughtful approach to care and are interested in building practical skills while gaining deeper insight into their thoughts, behaviors, and emotional patterns.
What's one thing you wish all clients knew about therapy, mental health, or the healing process?
One thing I wish all clients knew is that progress is not always linear and that’s a normal, expected part of the healing process. Growth often comes with moments of discomfort, reflection, and gradual change, but even small shifts can be meaningful. Mental health is not about being “fixed,” but about gaining insight, building resilience, and developing the tools needed to navigate life with greater clarity and confidence.
What can clients expect in their first session with you and in the early stages of therapy?
In the first session, clients can expect a structured but welcoming conversation where we review your history, current concerns, and what you’re hoping to gain from treatment. I take time to understand the full picture while also ensuring you feel comfortable and heard. In the early stages, we focus on building a strong therapeutic relationship, clarifying goals, and beginning to identify patterns or stressors that may be contributing to your symptoms. From there, we develop a personalized, practical plan that may include coping strategies, skill-building, and, when appropriate, medication management to support your progress.
What personal experiences or values inform your practice as a therapist/provider?
My practice is grounded in values of empathy, respect, and cultural humility. I believe that each person’s experience is shaped by their unique background, relationships, and life circumstances, and I approach care with genuine curiosity and without judgment. I value creating a space where clients feel safe to be open and honest, while also maintaining a thoughtful, structured approach that supports real progress. I am committed to meeting clients where they are and working collaboratively to help them build insight, resilience, and a stronger sense of self.
How do you tailor therapy to meet each client’s unique needs?
I tailor care by taking the time to understand each client’s unique history, goals, and preferences, rather than applying a onesize-fits-all approach. Treatment is individualized and may include a combination of evidencebased therapy, practical skill-building, and, when appropriate, medication management. I continuously assess progress and adjust the plan as needed, ensuring that care remains aligned with the client’s evolving needs and that they feel actively involved in the decision-making process.
