About Provider

About Jessie

I am a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with 3 years of experience and over a decade as a registered nurse across diverse healthcare settings. I support clients managing anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and substance use disorders. My approach is empathetic and person-centered, focusing on helping clients achieve their goals through medication management, therapeutic support, and lifestyle interventions that promote long-term emotional well-being.

I earned my Master’s in Nursing from Regis College and transitioned fully into mental health practice. I integrate evidence-based approaches and psychoeducation to ensure clients are informed and active participants in their treatment decisions, creating collaborative plans that honor their unique experiences and values.

I strive to create a safe, compassionate space where clients feel seen, heard, and supported throughout their healing journey. Whether you are facing daily stressors or navigating complex mental health challenges, I am here to walk beside you as we work together toward stability, growth, and lasting wellness.

Get to know Jessie

What's one thing you wish all clients knew about therapy, mental health, or the healing process?

There is nothing to be ashamed about when you begin your healing journey. Self care is not selfish, and taking steps to improve your mental health only makes you more able to show up fully for yourself and those you love.

What can clients expect in their first session with you and in the early stages of therapy?

I will perform a psychiatric evaluation to gather all of the necessary information. If medications are prescribed, I will follow up within 2-4 weeks to assess tolerability. I generally recommend meeting monthly to follow up and assess the need for adjusmtments/monitor symptoms.

How do you tailor therapy to meet each client’s unique needs?

I do not rush the process and I honor the client's pace
