I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with three years of experience providing compassionate, patient-centered mental health care. I work with adults experiencing a variety of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, mood disorders, PTSD, sleep difficulties, and life stressors. I understand that seeking mental health care can feel overwhelming, so I strive to create a welcoming, judgment-free environment where clients feel comfortable sharing their concerns. My goal is to develop a personalized treatment plan to help clients achieve greater emotional stability and quality of life.
My approach to care is collaborative, compassionate, and individualized. I take time to understand each person’s symptoms and goals before developing a plan. I specialize in psychiatric evaluation and medication management for anxiety, depression, mood disorders, PTSD, and sleep difficulties. Clients can expect a supportive, judgment-free environment.
Taking the first step toward better mental health can sometimes feel difficult, but you do not have to navigate the process alone. I am committed to providing a supportive and compassionate space where you can feel heard, respected, and involved in your care. When you’re ready to take the next step, I invite you to schedule an appointment.

"With three years of experience in psychiatric mental health care, I’m passionate about creating a compassionate, judgment-free space where clients feel heard, understood, and supported as we work together toward improved mental health and overall well-being."
Why did you decide to become a counselor or psychiatric provider?
I decided to become a psychiatric provider because I have always been passionate about helping others and recognized how deeply mental health can affect every aspect of a person’s life. Through my experience in nursing, I saw the importance of having providers who truly listen, show compassion, and take the time to understand the person behind the symptoms. Becoming a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner allows me to combine my nursing experience with my passion for mental health while helping individuals feel heard, supported, and empowered to improve their overall well-being.
What types of clients do you work best with?
Ages 25 and up.
What's one thing you wish all clients knew about therapy, mental health, or the healing process?
I wish every client knew that seeking help is a sign of strength, not weakness, and that healing does not always happen in a straight line. Progress can take time, and it may look different for everyone. You deserve a safe space to be heard, supported, and understood, and you do not have to have everything figured out before taking the first step toward feeling better.
What can clients expect in their first session with you and in the early stages of therapy?
During your first session, you can expect a welcoming and judgmentfree environment where we will take time to discuss your concerns, symptoms, medical and psychiatric history, current medications, and treatment goals. I want to understand you as a whole person, not just your symptoms. Together, we will develop an individualized treatment plan that may include medication management, education, supportive interventions, and other appropriate recommendations. During the early stages of treatment, we will continue to monitor your progress, address any concerns or medication side effects, and make adjustments as needed to help you work toward greater stability and overall well-being.
What personal experiences or values inform your practice as a therapist/provider?
My nursing background has taught me the importance of compassion, patience, and truly listening to each person’s individual story. I value treating every client with dignity and respect while creating a space where they feel comfortable being themselves without fear of judgment. I believe mental health care should be collaborative and individualized, and I strive to treat the whole person rather than focusing only on a diagnosis or symptoms.
How do you tailor therapy to meet each client’s unique needs?
I tailor my approach by taking the time to understand each client’s unique experiences, symptoms, concerns, preferences, and treatment goals. I recognize that there is no one-size-fits-all approach to mental health care, so I work collaboratively with each client to develop an individualized treatment plan that may include medication management, education, supportive interventions, and appropriate referrals or additional resources. As treatment progresses, I continue to listen, assess what is working, and make adjustments based on the client’s needs and response to care.
