About Mary
I am a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP) with 1 year of experience and over 20 years in health care. I specialize in providing compassionate, individualized psychiatric care to clients across the lifespan. As a dual-certified nurse practitioner in family and psychiatric care, I am dedicated to advocating for my clients and supporting diverse backgrounds with thoughtful, patient-centered treatment.
I earned my Master of Science in nursing from Indiana Wesleyan University. My background includes advanced practice experience and a strong foundation in holistic care. I meet clients where they are, using evidence-based approaches to guide treatment and promote improved mental health outcomes.
I understand that asking for help is not always easy. My goal is to walk alongside you, offering support, guidance, and practical strategies as you move toward brighter days. When you’re ready, I’m here to help you take that first step toward feeling better.

"I bring the knowledge from my own encounters with trauma and loss, along with years of professional experience, to ensure that I provide an individualized, personal, and real perspective to my clients and their needs."
Get to know Mary
What's one thing you wish all clients knew about therapy, mental health, or the healing process?
You are not alone. Seeking help takes so much more strength and courage than dealing with things by yourself. There isn’t a one word answer or a magic wand, but through open dialogue and honest feedback we can get on the right path. Healing takes time and effort but it there for the taking.
What can clients expect in their first session with you and in the early stages of therapy?
I want take the time to get to know clients so that I can help them. I like to ask a range of questions and then both engage in conversations about the answers. It’s not a matter of introducing myself and then saying, “Now go” or making someone feel on the spot to tell me what’s wrong. I want to make sure you are comfortable with me and feel a connection that is going to make you feel safe discussing what is on you we can do to provide an effective and positive outcome for you.
How do you tailor therapy to meet each client’s unique needs?
I am a big believer in the approach that there is no standard approach. Everyone has their own unique set of circumstances that have led to where they are at. Different approaches will not work with everybody. My goal is to get to know the client well enough, have them get to know me well enough to where we can collaborate on a therapy path that is going to give them the most positive results.
