Hi, my name is Ejaz Jafri. I am a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner with extensive experience in psychiatry spanning over 25 years, helping adolescents and adults find stability, healing, and renewed confidence through personalized psychiatric care. Serving individuals throughout the state, I focus on supporting each patient’s journey toward mental wellness with compassion and evidence-based treatment. Whether managing depression, anxiety, psychosis, PTSD, or bipolar disorder, I take a comprehensive approach that blends medication management with therapeutic interventions to help patients achieve lasting progress.
I also work closely with diverse populations, including military personnel and veterans, first responders, and individuals on the autism spectrum, tailoring my care to each group. Outside of my clinical work at BNBA, I enjoy researching emerging mental health treatments, staying active through exercise, volunteering, and helping others in my community.
I am open to every kind of patient undergoing any mental affliction.

"I am deeply passionate about helping individuals who have recently been discharged from a psychiatric hospital successfully transition back into daily life. I understand that this period can be challenging and focuses on building safety, consistency, and hope for those navigating recovery after hospitalization. With expertise in managing complex conditions and adjusting medications thoughtfully, I help patients regain balance and maintain continuity of care during this critical stage. In addition to my work with mood and anxiety disorders, I specialize in treating ADHD, substance use issues, and trauma-related conditions. I incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness techniques into my medication management sessions, offering an integrative treatment experience that supports both mind and body."
