About Trinell
Hello, I'm Trinell Robertson, a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and Certified Family Nurse Practitioner. With more than 15 years of experience in healthcare, I have learned that caring for the whole person means recognizing that behind every diagnosis is a unique individual with their own story, experiences, strengths, and challenges. Having had the privilege of caring for individuals across many stages of life, I have developed a deep understanding of the connection between physical health, mental well-being, and overall quality of life.
Whether you are struggling to manage anxiety, depression or trauma, experiencing difficulty with sleep or mood, or trying to find your way through a challenging season of life, you do not have to navigate it alone. I am committed to walking alongside you with compassion, respect, and understanding as you work toward balance, growth, and healing.
Most importantly, you do not have to navigate life's challenges alone. If you have been waiting for the right time to prioritize your mental health, let this be your reminder that it is okay to ask for help. I look forward to creating a safe space to help you feel more like yourself again. You are worthy of care, healing, and a meaningful life.

"You don’t have to have everything figured out to take the first step toward healing. Sometimes, you simply need a safe place to begin. Healing begins when you feel safe enough to be seen, heard, and understood."

Why did you decide to become a counselor or psychiatric provider?
I am passionate about helping individuals create a therapeutic relationship where they feel safe, respected, comfortable, and genuinely heard. My goal is to meet each person where they are and work collaboratively to understand their unique experiences, concerns, strengths, and goals.
What types of clients do you work best with?
I am passionate about helping individuals who may feel overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted, stuck, or uncertain about what comes next. I work with clients experiencing depression, anxiety, PTSD, insomnia, schizophrenia, and bipolar disorder, as well as individuals struggling with stress, emotional challenges, and significant life transitions that can affect mental and emotional wellbeing. Whether you are trying to regain your sense of balance, better understand your emotions, improve your sleep, manage changes in mood, or simply feel like yourself again, my goal is to provide a space where you never feel judged for what you are going through. My goal is to meet each person where they are and work collaboratively to understand their unique experiences, concerns, strengths, and goals.
What's one thing you wish all clients knew about therapy, mental health, or the healing process?
Taking the first step toward mental wellness can feel difficult, but reaching out for support is a sign of strength. You deserve to feel seen, heard, and supported. You are worthy of care, healing, and a life that feels manageable and meaningful.
What can clients expect in their first session with you and in the early stages of therapy?
Clients can expect me to be present, supportive, and honest while encouraging them to participate actively in their own healing. I believe progress does not always happen overnight, and there is no single path to wellness. Sometimes progress looks like finding the right treatment; sometimes it means learning healthier ways to cope, gaining a better understanding of yourself, rebuilding confidence, or simply making it through a difficult season. Wherever you are in your journey, I want you to know that your experiences matter and your voice deserve to be heard. Clients can expect a compassionate, nonjudgmental environment where their voice matters and their treatment is tailored to their individual needs. My hope is that you leave each interaction feeling heard, respected, supported, and encouraged about what is possible for your future.
How do you tailor therapy to meet each client’s unique needs?
My approach is holistic, client-centered, and individualized. I believe effective mental health care begins with listening and building trust. Mental health care should look beyond symptoms and consider the whole person—including their emotional, physical, social, and environmental wellbeing. I take time to understand not only what you are experiencing, but also how those experiences are affecting your daily life, relationships, goals, and overall well-being. Together, we identify the challenges that may be affecting your ability to thrive, develop realistic goals, and explore treatment strategies that support meaningful and sustainable progress while supporting your mental, emotional, and physical wellness.
