About Haulek
Getting the right psychiatric medication can be life-changing and finding someone who truly takes the time to understand you makes all the difference. I specialize in medication management for depression, anxiety, PTSD, and OCD, working with adults navigating everything from career stress and academic pressure in their 20s to the demands of family and professional life in their 30s, 40s, and beyond. I hold a Doctor of Nursing Practice in lifespan psychiatric-mental health from the University of Florida and bring both clinical rigor and genuine curiosity to every client.
I take a whole-person approach to medication management: evaluating sleep, diet, movement, work, relationships, and physical health alongside relevant routine labs. Medication, when indicated, is used thoughtfully to stabilize during an episode, then tapered when clinically appropriate. My goal is your long-term wellness, not lifelong medication.
If you've been wondering whether medication might help you feel like yourself again, you're not alone. I'd love to help you find clarity and a plan that truly fits your life. When you're ready to take that next step, I encourage you to schedule an appointment.

"My approach is to get patients on the most effective but shortest amount of time possible on medications, get them stabilized to be able to achieve the goals they have for themselves. "

Why did you decide to become a counselor or psychiatric provider?
I've always been fascinated by what drives people: why we feel what we feel, why we do what we do. Psychiatry lets me sit at that intersection of science and humanity. I wanted to help people not just cope, but actually understand themselves and move forward.
What types of clients do you work best with?
I work best with motivated adults who are ready to take an active role in their wellness. Many of my patients are in their 20s and 30s navigating career, school, and relationships, or in their 40s and beyond managing major life transitions. I especially enjoy treating depression, anxiety, PTSD, and OCD.
What's one thing you wish all clients knew about therapy, mental health, or the healing process?
Insight alone doesn't create change, behavior does. You can understand your patterns perfectly and still feel stuck. What moves the needle is when awareness leads to action. That's where real growth happens.
What can clients expect in their first session with you and in the early stages of therapy?
The first visit is a thorough one-hour evaluation: we look at your full picture, including lifestyle, labs, and history. Follow-up visits are 15 to 30 minutes focused on medication management: what's working, what isn't, side effects, and next steps. It's collaborative and straightforward.
What personal experiences or values inform your practice as a therapist/provider?
I believe in the resilience of the human spirit. I also believe wellness is bigger than a prescription: sleep, diet, movement, relationships, and even spiritual life all matter. I look at the whole person, not just the diagnosis.
How do you tailor therapy to meet each client’s unique needs?
I assess each patient's full lifestyle alongside their symptoms and run labs relevant to mental health. Medication is used intentionally, to stabilize during a difficult episode, and tapered when it's no longer needed. Every plan is built around where that person is and where they want to go.
