About Nadia
Hello, I'm Nadia Bowser, a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP) with over 10 years of healthcare experience across a variety of clinical and patient care settings. Throughout my career, I've developed a strong passion for supporting individuals through complex and difficult seasons of life with compassion and understanding. I work with adolescents and adults navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, bipolar disorder, trauma, and other mental health challenges. I enjoy helping those who feel overwhelmed, stuck, or simply ready to find healing, balance, and a path toward feeling like themselves again.
My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and personalized. I combine medication management with supportive therapy to help you build coping skills, gain insight, and make meaningful progress at a pace that works for you. I take a down-to-earth, real-person approach, using lightheartedness and humor to make sessions feel comfortable and less intimidating.
You don't have to go through this alone, and wherever you are in your journey is a perfectly OK place to start. I'm here to meet you with understanding, support, and care as you take the next step toward feeling better. When you're ready, I invite you to schedule an appointment so we can begin working toward your healing together.

"I’m someone who truly listens, meets you where you are, and works with you to make life feel a little lighter and more manageable."
Get to know Nadia
What's one thing you wish all clients knew about therapy, mental health, or the healing process?
“I wish everyone knew that healing isn’t supposed to be instant — it took time to get here, and it’s completely okay for the process of feeling better to take time too.
What can clients expect in their first session with you and in the early stages of therapy?
In your first session, you can expect a warm, welcoming, and judgmentfree space where we take time to get to know you and what brought you in. We’ll talk through your current concerns, symptoms, and goals, and I’ll ask questions to better understand your history so we can begin building a clear picture of what you’re experiencing. In the early stages of care, we’ll work together to develop a personalized treatment plan that may include medication management, supportive therapy, or a combination of both. My goal is to move at a pace that feels comfortable for you while making sure you feel heard, supported, and understood every step of the way. You can also expect open communication, collaboration, and a focus on practical strategies to help you start feeling better and more in control of your mental health.
How do you tailor therapy to meet each client’s unique needs? v
I tailor care by starting with a thorough understanding of your unique experiences, symptoms, strengths, and goals rather than taking a one-size-fitsall approach. I take time to listen closely to what you’re going through and collaborate with you to develop a treatment plan that feels realistic, supportive, and aligned with your needs. From there, I adjust care based on how you respond over time, which may include medication management, supportive therapy, or skill-building strategies. I also consider your comfort level, pace, and preferences, making space for open communication so we can refine the approach together. My goal is to ensure your care feels personalized, flexible, and truly centered around you.
