About Brett
I am a licensed professional counselor (LPC) with 4 years of experience in the mental health field. I work with adolescents and adults facing concerns such as depression, anxiety, trauma, OCD, self-esteem challenges, and identity-related stressors. My background includes experience in substance use treatment, where I supported individuals with complex and co-occurring concerns. I also have experience providing family and couples counseling focused on communication and conflict resolution. My therapeutic approach is person-centered and collaborative, recognizing you as the expert on your own life.
I earned my master’s degree in psychology with a concentration in clinical counseling from The Citadel. I utilize evidence-based approaches, including cognitive behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, trauma-focused interventions, eye movement desensitization and reprocessing, and motivational interviewing.
I strive to create a safe, supportive space where you feel heard, respected, and empowered. Whether you are seeking direction, clarity, or simply someone to walk alongside you during a difficult season, I am here to support your growth and healing. Together, we can work toward meaningful change that aligns with your values and goals, starting with taking the first step to schedule an appointment.

"I know how difficult life can be, and I have valuable skills to meet you where you are and help you move in the direction of the life you want to live."

What's one thing you wish all clients knew about therapy, mental health, or the healing process?
While it is work, it is also fun, satisfying, and there is more focus placed on solution as opposed to problem.

We will get to know one another and establish healthy boundaries, and establish an understanding of how therapy will benefit you.
