About Kaitlin

Kaitlin Blum is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Pennsylvania. Kaitlin’s areas of expertise include but are not limited to working with adolescents and adults with anxiety, depression, trauma, eating disorders, body image, relationship issues individual and family therapy. She believes in the importance of developing a therapeutic relationship built on trust and openness to ensure a non-judgmental and inviting environment.

Kaitlin earned her Masters in Clinical and Counseling Psychology with a trauma concentration from Chestnut Hill College following an undergraduate degree in Psychology at East Stroudsburg University. Though Kaitlin’s preferred treatment modalities are cognitive-behavioral, solution-focused, mindfulness, relational, and strength-based, she is trained in various evidenced-based techniques and is adaptive to the specific needs of each person she works with. She recognizes that each person is different, and tailors sessions to everyone’s needs to find the most productive way to stronger emotional health.

Kaitlin realizes that reaching out to a new therapist can be a daunting first step. It is her goal to empower clients to become self-motivated and self-aware to make necessary changes and achieve a better quality of life. Kaitlin finds benefit in using some pop-culture analogies as a lighthearted tool for personal insight and building a connection with you!
