About Julia
Julia Vance is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Pennsylvania who has over 5 years of experience working with children, adolescents, and young adults in therapeutic and educational settings. She prides herself on her ability to establish meaningful connections while helping to treat anxiety, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder, autism spectrum disorder, depression, oppositional defiant disorder, and PTSD.
Julia earned her Master's degree in Counseling Psychology
from Holy Family University. As a school counselor, she provided academic, behavioral, and emotional support to students. Julia utilizes cognitive behavioral (CBT), strengths-based, person-centered, and solution-focused therapies in her work. In addition to providing instruction in mindfulness and meditation practices, Julia also enjoys incorporating the interests of her clients, such as art and music, into treatment.
Julia aims to provide clients with a safe, supportive, and caring environment in which they can process stressors while developing the skills and confidence necessary to achieve their goals.

I work best with children and adolescents.
What type of clients are you most excited to work with?
I am most excited to work with children and adolescents as I enjoy watching their excitement as the learn, grow, and establish new skills. They also are never afraid to tell you what they really think!
What’s one thing you wish all clients knew?
Some of what you see as your biggest weakness can also be your greatest strengths!
What can clients expect in their first session with you?
Our first session involves us getting to know each other so we can work as a team to come up with goals you would like to accomplish in future sessions.
What do you do for fun/on your time off?
I enjoy taking hikes with my dog and playing video games.
