Get to know Amanda
Why did you decide to become a counselor?
I was adopted at a young age and experienced a great deal of challenges throughout my early years. With the help of others, I was able to tackle a variety of issues throughout my early adulthood which led me to find my passion in helping others.
What's one thing you wish all clients knew?
No one is perfect. Every clinician would benefit from having their own clinician. With that said, we all need someone to talk to. We all have areas within our lives that would benefit from making improvements. Seeking help and/or guidance, is a strength and represents your love for yourself, as well as your desire to be the best person that you can be.
