About Tricia
Dr. Rampersad is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with 21 years of experience in mental health care. She’s worked in educational settings, hospitals, medical centers, non-profits, and outpatient clinics. Dr. Rampersad specializes in women's issues, anxiety disorders, depression, adjustment disorder, self-esteem, LGBTQ+ issues, and OCD, and she enjoys being an ally to LGBTQ+ folks and empowering the community. She earned a Bachelor’s in Communications & Journalism at Fairleigh Dickinson, a Master’s in Counseling Psychology at New Jersey City University, and a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology at California Southern University.
Dr. Rampersad’s treatment modalities include a combination of cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), mindfulness, sports psychology, and coaching. Dr. Rampersad is an inclusive therapist and believes in diversity, equity, and multiculturalism.
